In James Mangold’s A Complete Unknown, a young Bob Dylan (Timothée Chalamet) arrives in New York in search of his hero Woody Guthrie (Scoot McNairy) and connects with Pete Seeger (Edward Norton) as he begins his music career, which involves a professional and occasionally volatile relationship with Joan Baez (Monica Barbaro) and a temperamental romance with Sylvie Russo (Elle Fanning).
