In The Pitt, Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) leads a team at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital emergency room through a fifteen-hour work shift. Dr. Robby replaces Dr. Jack Abbot (Shawn Hatosy) as he’s ending his night shift, and Jack returns when he feels like he can be helpful in the wake of a mass shooting.
