Joining NBC’s fall comedy lineup is St. Denis Medical, a show about the hard-working staff of an Oregon hospital. Joyce (Wendi McLendon-Lovey) is the eccentric executive director of St. Denis Medical, managing ER doctor Ron (David Alan Grier), supervising nurse Alex (Allison Tolman), and the other members of the team as they encounter humorous scenarios while trying their best to save lives and stay sane in the process.
Awards Buzz had the chance to speak with McLendon-Lovey, Tolman, creators Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer, and supporting players Josh Lawson, Kaliko Kauahi, Kahyun Kim, and Mekki Lepper about being part of the show. Watch the videos above to hear their experiences working on a medical set and how much real-world knowledge they believe they’ve digested as a result.
St. Denis Medical premieres Tuesday, November 12th, with new episodes dropping weekly on Sundays at 10:30pm through the series finale on December 8th.
