In Jack Huston’s Day of the Fight, Mikey (Michael C. Pitt) is fresh out of prison and getting ready for his first fight as a boxer since his release. His encounters with a handful of people from his past, including his trainer Stevie (Ron Perlman), a priest (John Magaro), and his ex-wife Jessica (Nicolette Robinson), put everything into perspective as he wonders if he does indeed have a future.
Awards Buzz spoke with Huston, Pitt, Robinson, and Perlman about what they connected to about each of the characters. Watch the videos above to hear about their passion for this project and for audiences to be able to see it.
Day of the Fight opens in theaters on Friday, December 6th.
