The Handmaid’s Tale returns for its sixth and final season, beginning with June (Elisabeth Moss) and Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) on a train together but headed in radically different directions. Determined to bring down Gilead, June navigates her potential allies amid very treacherous territory, while Serena finds her place in a new, reformed version of a totalitarian society, New Bethlehem, which may give her some voice again while preserving her conservative beliefs.
Awards Buzz spoke with Yahlin Chang and Eric Tuchman about taking over showrunner duties for the show’s swan song.
