Charlie Cale (Natasha Lyonne) has an incredible power: she can tell if people are lying. Yet she’s always finding herself in trouble, happening to be around murder after murder as she’s on the run from the dangerous people dead set on finding her. In season two of Poker Face, Charlie encounters new eccentric characters as she stumbles into more sticky situations and pieces together who the culprit is and how they almost got away with it.
Awards Buzz spoke with Tony Tost about joining the show as a fan of season one to take over as showrunner for season two and how he didn’t want to change anything about a show he already thought was perfect. Watch the video above to hear how he thinks fans of this show will like his feature directorial debut, the forthcoming Americana.
The first three episodes of season two of Poker Face are now streaming on Peacock. New episodes premiere weekly on Thursdays through the season finale on July 10th.
