Tribeca Review: ‘Sacramento’ is a Consistently Funny Tale of Fractured Friendships
June 15, 2024Interview: Sheila Carrasco on Flower’s Sunny Disposition in ‘Ghosts’
June 15, 2024Three seasons in, Ghosts remains one of the best ensemble comedies on television, following the (after)lives of a group of ghosts from all throughout history who have all died at the same house now owned by Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar). While the ghosts can all see Sam and she can see them, Jay is often left to his own thoughts when they’re all having conversations without him able to see or hear anything.
Awards Buzz spoke with Ambudkar – whose son Bhumi ended up sitting in for the interview – about the key to being able to ignore other people while talking to the camera. Watch the video above to hear what he’d like to see for the future of Jay and Sam and other ideas he doesn’t think would work as well for the show.
Utkarsh Ambudkar is eligible for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series at this year’s Emmy Awards. The first three seasons of Ghosts are available to stream on Paramount+ and the series returns for season four this fall on CBS.
