Latasha M. Ford with Awards Buzz recently had the incredible opportunity to go behind the scenes with Taylor Handley, star of “Mayor of Kingstown,” for an exclusive interview covering all things Season 4.
During our conversation, Taylor offered a reflective look at his career, candidly discussing both the highs and lows he’s experienced, and expressing profound gratitude for his current project. He also shared some of his favorite moments and scenes from the show, particularly delving into a transformative scene from either episode 7 or 8 that deeply resonated with him. We also spoke in depth about his career retrospective, focusing on his iconic roles and experiences that have shaped him as an actor.
“I’m keeping busy. I’m being dad, I’m being an actor, I’m being a creative. I’m trying to be of service as much as possible wherever I’m called to.”

The new season brings back beloved stars Jeremy Renner, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, and Hugh Dillon. We also have some fantastic new additions to the cast, including Edie Falco as Anchor Bay’s new prison warden, Nina Hobbs; Lennie James as the highly respected gangster Frank Moses; and Laura Benanti as correctional officer Cindy Stephens. The cast recently filmed on location in Canada, adding to the show’s authentic feel.
This season promises intense drama as Mike’s control over Kingstown is challenged. According to Paramount+’s description, “Mike’s control over Kingstown is threatened as new players compete to fill the power vacuum left in the Russians’ wake, compelling him to confront the resulting gang war and stop them from swallowing the town.
