Interview: Lucy Boynton and Justin H. Min on Music, Time Travel, and More in ‘The Greatest Hits’

What if a song had the power to bring someone back to life? That’s the premise of The Greatest Hits, a Searchlight Pictures film from director Ned Benson now streaming on Hulu. Mourning the loss of her boyfriend Max (David Corenswet) in a car accident, Harriet (Lucy Boynton) can’t move on since she is transported back to a key moment in their relationship every time a song they heard together plays. A chance at new love with David (Justin H. Min) offers a fresh path, one that she’s not sure she wants to take.

Awards Buzz spoke with Boynton and Min about their own familiarity with music and what they would do if they were granted Harriet’s extraordinary abilities. Watch the video above to hear from this dynamic duo, who anchor one of the year’s most enjoyable nostalgia trips.

The Greatest Hits made its world premiere at the 2024 SXSW Film and TV Festival and was released on Hulu on Friday, April 12th.
