Scott Menzel’s Oscar Predictions: October 2024

October Predictions

In just a month’s time, a lot has changed in the state of the Oscar race. We learned where several actors would be competing while seeing that some of films which opened in September and October did not perform as expected, not only at the box office but with audiences as well. I have started to wonder with the exception of Wicked, Gladiator 2, and A Complete Unknown will be any last minute surprises this year? Because while I am excited to see Clint Eastwood’s Juror No.2 and Robert Zemeckis’ Here, I do feel pretty doubtful that either film will be end up generating enough buzz to make a dent in the conversation.
