In Reid Davenport’s documentary Life After, he explores the legacy of Elizabeth Bouvia, a disabled woman who, in the 1980s, fought for the right to die, and the current intersection of medical aid in dying and its potentially dangerous application to those with disabilities.
Awards Buzz spoke with Davenport and producer Colleen Cassingham about their preconceived notions going into making the film and how those were affected over the course of production.
