In The Pitt, Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) leads a team at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital emergency room through a fifteen-hour work shift. He has a complicated relationship with Dr. Heather Collins (Tracy Ifeachor), who hasn’t yet told many people about her pregnancy and soon experiences a devastating loss.
