In Adolescence, thirteen-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) is arrested for the murder of his classmate, and in the limited series’ third episode, he is interviewed by psychologist Briony Ariston (Erin Doherty), who attempts a gentle approach only to see Jamie reveal the disturbing nature of the chauvinistic, condescending worldview he’s been fed.
Awards Buzz spoke with Doherty about how the one-shot filming experience was very much like doing a play, aided considerably by the impressive talent of her young costar.
