In season four of Hacks, the dysfunctional office of the new partnership of Kayla (Megan Stalter) and Jimmy (Paul W. Downs) gets an enticing shakeup when Kayla hires Randi (Robby Hoffman), a new assistant who only recently emerged from the Hasidic community in Brooklyn but proves to be quite skilled and helping things feel much more organized almost right away.
Awards Buzz spoke with Hoffman about how she and Randi are and are not alike and how Randi’s first assistant job compares to her first acting gig. Watch the video above to hear about transitioning from writing and standup to a regular acting role and what’s next for her.
