The MPTF NextGen Board hosted its annual Summer Party on Sunday, May 30, at The Aster in Hollywood, with Noah Wyle serving as host. The event raised a record-breaking $195,000 in support of MPTF programs and services which help those working in Hollywood. The Motion Picture & Television Fund supports working and retired members of the entertainment community by providing health and social services, temporary financial assistance, and residential living. The recurring theme in speaking with attendees was the support of community.
Noah Wyle shared some of MPTF’s work that helped those impacted by the recent fires in Los Angeles, “860 industry members requested services. 371 of them were displaced. 218 households lost their entire home. Financial assistance totaled over $2.3 million in 2025, and with continuing support in 2026, the total assistance has reached over $4.5 million.”

Marshall, Cameron Monaghan, Annie Mumolo, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Scott Porter, Jason Ritter, Reid Scott, Harry Shum Jr., Chase Stokes, and Luke Tennie, along with MPTF NextGen Board members Camilla Belle and Jason George, Board of Directors member Simran Baidwan and MPTF Board of Governors member Yvette Nicole Brown.
