June 21, 2024The documentary For Love & Life: No Ordinary Campaign, which premiered back in October 2022 at the Chicago International Film Festival, chronicles the extraordinary story of Brian Wallach, an activist and campaign staffer for President Barack Obama who was diagnosed with ALS at the age of thirty-seven. The film comes from director Christopher Burke, a friend of Wallach’s who has since developed a true passion for this cause after seeing Wallach in action.
Awards Buzz spoke with Burke about getting to know Wallach’s story and engaging in something meaningful to him from behind the camera. Watch the video above to hear about the progress of ALS research and how he hopes this film can make an impact.
