Interview: Jeff Daniels on the Enticing Challenge and That Big Southern Accent in ‘A Man in Full’

Jeff Daniels has delivered numerous memorable performances over the course of his career, including as one of the two leads in Noah Baumbach’s The Squid and the Whale and in his Emmy-winning turn as news anchor Will McAvoy in Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom. His latest project is the limited series A Man in Full, the television adaptation of Tom Wolfe’s 1998 novel, in which he plays cutthroat real estate mogul Charlie Croker.

Awards Buzz spoke with Daniels about the many factors that drew him to say yes to this role. Watch the video above to hear him reflect on highlights from his career, including Gettysburg, and his general approach to projects.
