Hacks, now back for its third season on Max, is a show about the unhealthy working dynamic between veteran comedian Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and writer Ava Daniels (Hannah Einbinder). Paul W. Downs wears many hats, serving as co-creator with Lucia Aniello and Jen Statsky and playing the role of Jimmy, the hard-working agent for both Deborah and Ava.
