In Vertical Entertainment’s A Sacrifice, Eric Bana stars as Ben Monroe, an American psychologist living in Berlin and looking into a cult increasing in popularity and visibility. His teenage daughter Mazzy, played by Sadie Sink, comes to visit and soon finds herself drawn into the lure of that cult, unaware that it’s precisely the threat that her father is working hardest to root out and expose for what it truly is.
Awards Buzz spoke with Sink and Bana about their own (limited to nonexistent) experiences with cults and what drew them to the film.
