In season two of HBO’s House of the Dragon, dynamics shift and people die, sometime for futile reasons, though Princess Rhaenys Velaryon (Eve Best) makes a bold and memorable stand to defend what she values. Left in her wake is her husband Lord Corlys (Steve Toussaint), who has his own family drama to deal with as he calculates his best avenue to retain what he still has.
Awards Buzz spoke with Toussaint about following the mythology of the show and how much he feels like he has to – and could possibly – know. Watch the video above to hear about working with Best and the rest of the cast, as well as the experience of filming this very visually striking series.
The first two seasons of House of the Dragon are streaming on Max.
