In Stephanie Laing’s Tow, Amanda (Rose Byrne) finds her life upended when the car that she also lives in is stolen, towed, and then sold before she’s able to get it back. Determined to be reunited with the property that she believes can get her life back on track, she continues to fight despite numerous setbacks to see what’s rightfully hers returned.
Awards Buzz spoke with Laing about working with her Physical star Byrne and making the switch back to film after many years of mostly doing TV. Watch the video above to hear her reflections on how the two mediums are different and what kinds of stories really entice her.
