In season two of Shrinking, Derek (Ted McGinley) finally gets to be upset about something in his marriage to Liz (Christa Miller) but, as usual, takes it all in stride. He’s also helping his son Connor (Gavin Lewis) as he makes regrettable decisions and introducing his friend, also named Derrick (Damon Wayans Jr.), to Liz’s friend Gaby (Jessica Williams).
