In 2015, Daredevil began its three-season run on Netflix, chronicling the dual identity of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer who moonlights as the masked vigilante Daredevil. Since the end of that series, Cox has reprised the role with brief appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Echo, as well as a multi-episode arc in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Now, Cox returns to his signature role in a full-time capacity in Daredevil: Born Again, which is currently shooting its second season.
Awards Buzz spoke with Cox about his feelings on getting back into this role and why he felt like the material was definitely worthy of revisiting the original series.
