Nominations for the 98th Oscars will be announced in 24 categories on Thursday, January 22nd. Ten films have been shortlisted, and half of them will be nominated.

Wicked: For Good
Though not related to Guillermo Del Toro’s film, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein was nominated in 1994. The first Wicked was nominated last year. The Makeup Artists & Hair Stylists Guild has recognized Frankenstein, Sinners, One Battle After Another, and Wicked: For Good in three of its categories, while Marty Supreme and The Smashing Machine each earned one nomination apiece.
