Interview: Rebecca Wisocky on Hetty’s Big Twist and Having Fun on ‘Ghosts’

Three seasons in, Ghosts remains one of the best ensemble comedies on television, following the (after)lives of a group of ghosts from all throughout history who have all died at the same house now owned by Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar). One of the oldest residents of the house is the woman who lived there when she was alive: Sam’s ancestor Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky).

Awards Buzz spoke with Wisocky about Hetty’s story arc in season three and getting to explore her character’s backstory in new ways. Watch the video above to hear stories of on-set antics and her experiences with fellow members of the ensemble.

Rebecca Wisocky is eligible for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at this year’s Emmy Awards. The first three seasons of Ghosts are available to stream on Paramount+ and the series returns for season four this fall on CBS.
