Nominations for the 98th Oscars will be announced in 24 categories on Thursday, January 22nd.
This year, the Writers Guild of America nominations won’t come out until the week after Oscar nominations. The Critics Choice Awards cited Jay Kelly, Marty Supreme, Sentimental Value, Sorry, Baby (which may have gotten a boost from Julia Roberts’ shout-out to Eva Victor at the Golden Globes), and Weapons, with Sinners winning the award. Other top contenders include It Was Just an Accident, The Secret Agent, Blue Moon, and If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.
