The Hollywood Music in Media Awards has four separate categories for original songs from film and awarded prizes this year to “Dear Me,” “Golden,” “Highest 2 Lowest,” and “I Lied to You,” with that Sinners track also winning an award for Onscreen Performance. Other nominees were “Dream as One,” “Drive,” “Dying to Live,” “The Girl in the Bubble,” “Last Time (I Seen the Sun),” “No Place Like Home,” “Our Love,” and “Salt Then Sour Then Sweet.” At both the Critics Choice Awards and the Golden Globe Awards, “Golden” triumphed over “I Lied to You,” “The Girl in the Bubble,” and “Train Dreams.” The Critics Choice Association also cited “Drive” while the Golden Globes nominated “Dream as One” and “No Place Like Home.” Diane Warren has a whopping sixteen nominations but has yet to win, and it would be unwise not to predict “Dear Me” given that she’s on the ballot again.

“The Girl in the Bubble” (Wicked: For Good)
