EXCLUSIVE CLIP: Gear-up For An Action-Packed Weekend with JESSICA BROK as The Survivalist Takes On A Mercenary Army

‘Hunting Jessica Brok’ South Africa Action- Thriller Exclusively In Theaters February 13

About ‘Hunting Jessica Brok’

She was a ghost. A knife in boots. Special forces-trained, war-tested, and emotionally cauterized. Once, Jessica Brok had a name that meant death in several dialects; then she went off-grid and vanished. She renamed herself Linda, found a home, and started a vulture rescue center, believing she was finished being a weapon. She was wrong!

When her ex-lover and comrade Daniel—long presumed dead—appears in her driveway with a bullet wound, he brings a warning. The men they fought before—traffickers and murderers who burned villages to hide their tracks—are coming for her. What follows is a sun-scorched fever dream of violence. Jessica is dragged back into a kill-or-be-killed life, but now she is slower, rustier, and has a daughter who might become collateral damage. When they take her and attempt to break her, they forget who she truly is.

Jessica Brok is a chemical reaction of grief, guilt, and training. Reclaiming her identity as a ghost and a shadow, she dismantles their organization with surgical precision. In the bush, every scar is a story and every death she delivers is a sacrament. By the end, the question isn’t whether she will survive, but whether her humanity can ever return. Some people go through hell; Jessica Brok built a home there. Hunting Jessica Brok officially hits theaters on Friday, February 13, 2026 and it is firmly establishing Danica De La Rey Jones as the genre’s next heavy hitter.

Moving away from CGI-heavy spectacle, the film delivers a raw, tactical survival story set against the brutal terrain of the African wilderness. Danica’s performance as a retired elite operative forced back into the fray is being hailed for its “knife-in-boots” realism and visceral stunt work.

Clyde Berning on the filming costumes “There was protective gear that we wore. The weapons themselves were quite heavy but the most taxing part was doing the stunts. In terms of the actual gear it felt like it was a part of us, we wore it like armor.”

Danica Jones on the stunt performances “I mean, it feels like your body’s gone through a marathon almost, because remember, we’re shooting or trying to get a take for quite a long time. So, your body’s constantly moving, it feels like you’ve gone to the gym and, and overdone it a bit…. Body does feel sore.”
