Stephanie Faracy talks on the pathway from acting in a drama series to comedy series: What I loved is that drama has come back. I started my career there in the drama genre of TV. I thought I was only a dramatic actress. I actually didn’t even know I was funny until I had to kind of pick up that rhythm and go, “Oh, here’s where funny sits.” But I took acting growing up so seriously. And then that faded in my life because of drama-related projects and roles.”

About “Scarpetta

Dr. Kay Scarpetta, the world’s most renowned forensic pathologist, has officially returned to her post as Virginia’s Chief Medical Examiner. In this gripping revival of Patricia Cornwell’s best-selling literary universe, Scarpetta finds herself plunged into a haunting new murder investigation that carries eerie, visceral reminders of her first major case from decades ago.

The narrative weaves a complex web between the present and the past, specifically reflecting on the pivotal year of 1998. During that era, Scarpetta famously collaborated with Detective Pete Marino and FBI Agent Benton Wesley to dismantle a terrifying series of brutal stranglings that shook the foundation of her career. This new chapter promises to explore those deep-seated professional and personal connections as old secrets resurface.

The series boasts an elite ensemble cast led by Academy Award winners Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis. They are joined by a powerhouse lineup including: Bobby Cannavale, Simon Baker, Rosy McEwen, Jacob Lumet Cannavale, Hunter Parrish and Ariana DeBose. Behind the scenes, the production is helmed by a prolific team of executive producers, including Liz Sarnoff, Jason Blum, and David Gordon Green, alongside Kidman, Curtis, and Cornwell herself.

For those looking to immerse themselves in the world of forensic intrigue, Season 1 (Episodes 1-8) is currently available for streaming on Prime Video. Following the show’s rare and prestigious two-season straight-to-series order, fans can look forward to even more mystery. As of June 2026, Season 2 is officially in production in Nashville, Tennessee, and is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2027.

About “Nobody Wants This

The narrative of Nobody Wants This explores the compelling, high-stakes collision between two starkly different worlds: the secular, irreverent sphere of modern media and the traditional, disciplined life of the rabbinate. The series centers on the unexpected, love-at-first-sight connection between Joanne (Kristen Bell), an irascible agnostic who co-hosts a candid relationship podcast with her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe), and Noah (Adam Brody), a young, charismatic American rabbi. Their burgeoning romance is immediately complicated by their diametrically opposed lifestyles and the relentless interference of their respective families.

Noah’s professional and personal stakes are particularly high; as he navigates his attraction to Joanne, he is simultaneously campaigning for a promotion to chief rabbi of his synagogue. This ambition is further complicated by his recent transition into singlehood following the end of a long-term relationship with a Jewish woman—a background that makes his pursuit of an agnostic woman a point of significant domestic and communal tension.

Despite the skepticism implied by its title, the series has proven to be a massive success with audiences. The show was highly anticipated prior to its debut and performed exceptionally well upon its release on Netflix. Following the critical and commercial success of its 10-episode second season, Netflix officially renewed the series for a third season prior to June 2026, ensuring that viewers will continue to see whether Noah and Joanne’s relationship can truly survive the meddling of their families and the friction of their wildly different lives.
