Brothers Yassir and Isaiah Lester make their feature directorial debut with The Gutter, a comedy about Walt (Shameik Moore), who discovers an uncanny talent for bowling, and Skunk (D’Arcy Carden), who coaches him to greatness and pushes him to take down champion Linda “The Crusher” Curson (Susan Sarandon).
Awards Buzz spoke with Carden about reading the hilarious script and the chance to work with Shameik Moore and Susan Sarandon. Watch the video above to hear about her career and her nostalgic look back at her TV roles on A League of Their Own and The Good Place.
