When Satanic Panic and the fear of the occult made its way into the fiber of 1980s metal music, teenagers and parents all over the world lost their collective minds trying to decipher reality.

Peacock’s eight-part original series, Hysteria!, dives head first into the trend that swept the nation in this supernatural satire, which, with all of the relevance of today’s world, pays homage to the ’80s pop culture references that shaped generations.

Awards Buzz spoke with Happy Hollow inhabitants Tracy Whitehead (Anna Camp) and daughter Faith (Nikki Hahn) about the wild ride that is Hysteria! Find out what they had to say about their characters and which of their favorite nods to the ’80s made it into the series.

Hysteria! premieres on Peacock on Friday, October 18.
